DLNA Stream to Samsung Smart TV

Postby Murderinc » Fri Jun 08, 2018 12:04 pm

Hi, I I have a big problem in DLNA streaming.
When I stream the vídeo to the tv, my TV says that cant recognize the file.
I've noticed that there is something wrong with the media file name, I mean, there is a ".*" after the filename extension.

Examples:
what_ever_movie.mp4.*
or
what_ever_movie.MKV.*

This is causing the error, my TV cant recognize file format like this.

I got the same problem, streaming from Android app or the desktop app.
My TV is a Samsung LA37D550 running the latest firmware.

By the way, if I stream any other local video or even other streaming competitors from my Android devices, using AllCast application for example to my tv, it works like a charm. And there is no ".*" after the filename.

Some other different popcorntime apps doesn't have the same problem in streaming, but I really prefer your app as it's more reliable and has larger database so please solve this problem as soon as possible
