Free vpn is not so bad but for things like social media, its not great for streaming movies at all. You should better check some paid ones, try one month and see if it works for your needs. On this site https://vpntrends.com you might find some useful informations..

It's pretty basic thing that free also comes at a cost, so I wouldn't recommend Free VPNs and would only advice to use Paid VPN options as nothing should come at a cost of your security.

Free VPNs is grey area, they don't add much to your security, have ads running, which means they are selling user data, this voids the main concern of a VPN user, or if a Free VPN is good enough, then it might have slow servers which eats up your internet Bandwith. It is always better to invest into Cheap VPNs, there are a lot of great options to go for, without even compromising security or feature.

I strongly agree. It's better to have cheap VPN than the free ones. PIA is a good choice, as well as NordVPN and Purevpn. they are all under $5 if you get the 3-year deal. If you are still in doubt, try the free trial of NordVPN for 3 days and see the service yourself. But if you still want to choose free VPN might as well read here this Best Free VPN

I would never prefer someone to use free VPN. They keep logs, sell your data for advertisement and restrict the regions. Whereas Paid VPNs offer great speed, no geo-restrictions, amazing streaming experience and no logs. I use PureVPN and it offers all the security and entertainment features I need.
