It seems to start giving me the start up screen, but after a few seconds the app goes blank.

Does anyone know how to fix this issue, on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS.

If anyone has a solution on how to solve it for Ubuntu 14.04 I would sure love to know.

Hi there, new user here. Got the same issue here. First couldn't start Popcorntime but that was solved by following this thread: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=5677&p=17262&hilit=linux#p17262.

Now when i start Popcorntime it starts up normally (get a bleuish startup screen) and then the screen turn black and nothing happens.

Any solution anyone?

as a follow up to my post here, whenever i startup Popcorntime in a terminal i get this as a result:
Code: Select all
nomko@MSI-GE70-2PE ~/Downloads/Popcorn-Time-linux64 $ ./Popcorn-Time
[6988:1029/181553:INFO:gpu_info_collector_x11.cc(80)] NVCtrl extension does not exist.

Anyone familiar with this error code?
